Youth Athlete Training
Our Youth Athlete Training program is built for athletes ages 10–18 who want to get faster, stronger, and more explosive. Each session blends sprint mechanics, strength training, jumping, and agility work — all scaled to age and ability. We focus on building athletic foundations while keeping kids safe, confident, and having fun. Every workout is coached by certified trainers who make sure each athlete gets the right mix of challenge and encouragement. The goal: develop speed, strength, and resilience that carry over to every sport — and reduce the risk of injury along the way.

Our Semi-Private Training program gives adults the best of both worlds — personal coaching with the energy of a small group (2–4 people). Every workout is tailored to your goals, whether that’s building strength, improving mobility, or training like an athlete again. You’ll never be left on your own. A coach is with you every session to ensure proper technique, safe progressions, and accountability. This program delivers the results of personal training at a more affordable cost — inside a supportive, motivating community.

Our Speed Training program helps athletes get faster where it matters most — on the field and court. Sessions focus on sprint mechanics, acceleration, and explosive first steps, using proven methods like sprints, plyometrics, and agility drills. Already lifting at school? Perfect. This is the missing piece that turns strength into game speed — giving football players and other athletes a real competitive edge.

Questions? We (probably) have the answers!
How do I get started?
The first step is scheduling a free assessment. For youth athletes, that means testing speed, jumping, and movement. For adults, it means looking at strength, mobility, and goals. From there, we’ll recommend the right training option so you can get started right away.
What is Semi Private Training?
Our semi-private model means you train in a small group (no more than 4 people) with a coach guiding every session. It combines the personal attention of 1-on-1 training with the community and affordability of group training — the best of both worlds.
Do you allow drop-ins?
To ensure personalized attention and optimal training quality, we do not allow drop-ins. Pre-booking is essential.
Can I train for a specific sport?
Absolutely! Our coaches specialize in sports performance training that can be tailored to the specific demands of your sport, whether it be football, basketball, track, or any other sport.
What safety measures are in place?
Your safety is our top priority. Our facility is equipped with the latest equipment, and our coaches are trained in injury prevention and first aid.
Do you train youth athletes? What ages?
Yes! We specialize in youth athletic development. Our programs start at age 10 and go through high school. At every stage, training is tailored to the athlete’s age, skill level, and sport demands — so whether they’re just starting out or competing at a high level, they’ll get exactly what they need.
What are your hours?
We're open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, catering to both early birds and evening athletes.
Is there any age limit for training at Wilmington Strength?
We welcome athletes and active individuals from age 10 and upwards. Training programs are customized to fit each age group and fitness level.
Do you offer nutrition advice?
While our main focus is on physical training, we understand the importance of nutrition in athletic performance and can offer basic guidance and recommendations.
How can I track my progress?
We offer periodic assessments and use a members-only app to monitor your progress and adjust your training plan as needed.
